Immunity Boosting Bundle - Health Benefits

You may remember  we mentioned that we are currently harvesting our organic Wheatgrass and that we only use the best quality and freshest ingredients in our juices. We want to help you to enjoy more of these Superfood juices and to support your immune system in the process. So we have put together this amazing ‘Immunity Boosting Bundle’ of Superfood juices for you.

How do they help?

Wheatgrass Juice :
Our 100% raw organic Wheatgrass Juice contains higher levels of Chlorophyll than any other green vegetable. It supports healthy blood cells and provides nutrients and vitamins for your body to help fight off infection.

Turmeric and Ginger:
Containing 18% ginger, the antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of this combination of Superfood ingredients is not only beneficial but also taste delicious.

Barleygrass juice:
Rich in many key nutrients that help to support the immune system, such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and enzymes. High in Vitamin E which helps maintain healthy skin and eyes and also strengthen the body's natural defence against illness and infection (the immune system). Article here

Kale, Reishi and Maca:
This Superfood blend benefits from high levels of dietary fibre, magnesium and zinc to provide your immune system with support. It is full of Vitamins A, C and E and helps your body’s natural defence against illness.

How do I take the juices?

To gain the maximum benefits from these juices simply

* remove the sachets from the freezer that you want to consume,

* Put under tap for 2 sec and then snip the end off of the sachet.

* Add the contents of the sachet to your blender along with your favourite juices or fruits and enjoy.

What else can you do to maximise the efficiency of your immune system?

Sleep:
A regular pattern  and enough sleep are closely tied to well-being. An adult should aim to get 7 hours of sleep each night, while teens need 8-10 hours (Article here). Limiting screen time and hour before bedtime can help with getting into a natural sleep pattern as can sleeping in a dark room and getting enough exercise.

Manage stress levels:
Maybe not the easiest thing to do right now but reducing stress is key to improving health. Activities such as Yoga, Meditation, Moderate exercise, colouring or writing can all be beneficial. We may not be able to see our friends and family,  but we can talk to them on the phone or electronically which can be great for reducing stress.

Follow good hygiene practices:
Keeping germs at bay is the first line of defence, washing your hands frequently but especially when you have been out and about is a great way to protect yourself. You can transfer viruses and germs from your hands to your mouth, nose or eyes by touching, so no touching of the face before hand washing is a great regime.

Exercise:
Maintaining a moderate amount of exercise is great for the body and the mind. If you can manage 30 minutes of moderate exercise each day you will be helping the body stay strong. Recent studies have shown that people who exercise regularly have skin that heals faster. Considering the first line of defence for any attack on the immune system is a physical barrier like the skin, this can only help (Charles F Emery 2005)

Nutrition:
Of course, eating a well-balanced diet, low in sugar and maintaining a sensible weight is also good for your health but adding more plant foods like nuts, seeds and fruits, which are rich in nutrients and antioxidants can give you an advantage against harmful viruses.

We have tried to make life easier for you by providing our ‘Immunity boosting Bundle’ where you can get many nutrients and vitamins which will help you support a healthy immune system, order here.
