Wheatgrass juice is a superfood with a range of health benefits, including promoting digestive health and supporting bowel regularity.

study  published in the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology found that consuming wheatgrass juice daily for a month improved bowel movements and overall digestive health in individuals with active distal ulcerative colitis, compared to those who did not consume the juice.

Our organic wheatgrass juice can  be extremely helpful in maintaining digestive health. It has been proven to help relieve the symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders like ulcerative colitis – and, incidentally, has long been used as a remedy for diarrhoea.

The reason for its efficacy is that it is packed with enzymes which assist in the breakdown of food, helping our bodies obtain the maximum nutrition from a healthy diet, and it contains higher levels of chlorophyll than any other green vegetable, cleansing toxins from the gut without producing some of the unwanted side-effects!

This study on published in The Journal of gastrointestinal diseases found that wheatgrass juice reduced symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, such as bloating and flatulence.

Wheatgrass juice, rich in chlorophyll, is a real nutritional powerhouse. It contains a cocktail of nutrients we need to stay healthy, including iron, magnesium, amino acids, phytonutrients and vitamins A, B, C, E and K. Why not see what a difference it can make to your digestive health with one of our freshly frozen, organic, field-grown superfood juices?
